Just Like You is not your typical love song. Paige has managed to write a song where it shows both sides of a relationship. A love song that is almost perfect. Depicting everyone in the relationship has their imperfections, the lyrics lead to forgetting birthdays, arriving late to parties, expecting their partner to be ready, and even causing problems to see how the other one reacts.
The song also displays another side where someone comes home from work and before doing anything they hold you and ask how your day was. It views the deep connection of the relationship where one person relocates away from their family to be with the one they love.
The song is one all people around the world can relate to, and in it’s own way, is very thought provoking. Single people could look back at their relationships realising what they had was pretty good and people who are in relationships may feel thankful for what they have.
