Hello Friends! Music is a universal language that transcends cultures and countries. In the radio world, women get a lot less airplay and that’s a statistical fact. We can start the conversations and keep requesting more women on the radio, or we can do much more and bring you the women you don’t hear on the radio. We founded Crazy Women Country in order to create a platform for women in music to be found and heard. The word “Country” really encompasses more than country music as we broaden to all women in music. Americana, Country, Folk, Southern Rock, Alternative, Gospel, and other genres blur to us as good music is good music regardless of genre.
It was Brandy Clark that said, “How can you like something you’ve never heard.” We both think Brandy Clark is right and she’s the reason we became friends and Crazy Women together, or rather her music.
