Daisy Dukes is an upbeat sassy song that will have you have your toe tapping and your head bopping. I wouldn’t try to fight it even if this is not your kind of country it will grab you and have you on that dance floor quicker than ABBA’s dancing queen.
The lyrics are all country and it’s about the tough women who can handle themselves and put these men in their places. The lyrics are catchy and the video is simple but it perfectly fits the song. Katelyn reminds you of a young Shania Twain with the dress style that pushes all the limits of country music. I love the line “Buy me a shot but that’s the only one you got” Straight to the point and this Daisy Duke is shooting from the hip. She’s there to drink, dance and have fun with no drama. The flippant line “I’mma gonna take home the girl you brought” You have to love this line, what more can I say. This girl has it all.
Maybe Katelyn Paige could be our Daisy Duke of the 21st century. Keep an eye on this young lady she will be going places and we are looking forward to her reaching the dizzy heights stardom.
