What’s New on the Deluxe Album?

For listeners returning to the album, the additional songs begin at track 16:

  • “Who Do You Love” featuring The Milk Carton Kids
  • “What’s Going On In There”
  • “Trippin’ On Good Luck”
  • “We Just Met”
  • “Hate That Way”
  • “The Places I’ll Go”

The announcement does not specify which three were previously retail exclusives, but all six are now collected on the expanded edition.

The Milk Carton Kids collaboration adds another name to a project that already includes appearances from Tanya Tucker, Josh Homme and The War and Treaty.

The Story Before the Superstar

For fans who first encountered Shania through “Any Man of Mine,” “You’re Still the One” or “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!,” Little Miss Twain looks further back.

Originally released in July, the album revisits her childhood and teenage years in Canada, exploring the memories and musical influences that shaped her before international fame.

According to the release announcement, those influences span country, pop, rock, soul and bluegrass. The deluxe edition continues that autobiographical direction, offering more material connected to the person behind the familiar hits.

That gives longtime listeners a different reason to spend time with this chapter of her catalog: discovering the experiences behind an artist whose music may already be woven into their own lives.

Shania Also Tells Her Story in Her Own Voice

The album expansion follows the October 6 release of a newly recorded audiobook of From This Moment On, Shania’s bestselling memoir.

This edition is narrated in full by Shania for the first time and includes a new foreword. Originally published in 2011, the memoir follows her journey from a difficult childhood in rural Canada through family loss, worldwide success and personal healing.

For fans who enjoy the stories behind the songs, the audiobook offers a companion to the album’s look back at her formative years. The publisher lists a running time of nearly 15 hours—plenty of listening for a few long drives.

What’s Ahead for Shania Fans?

There are also two major anniversaries on the horizon. In 2027, Come On Over turns 30 and Up! turns 25.

The announcement says more live dates will be revealed for 2027, with a biopic about Shania’s life and career also in development. It does not provide dates or ticket details, so fans will need to watch for further announcements.

For now, there is new music to explore. Start with “Who Do You Love,” jump straight to the six additions, or return to the beginning and hear the expanded album in sequence.
