NASHVILLE, TENN. – Coming off the most recent success of his previous release, Shaky Hand, Nashville based Alt-Americana country artist Justin Kaleb bares his heart in his follow-up single I Do. This song is available on all digital streaming platforms including SpotifyApple Music, and more.

Justin is not one to shy away from his feelings, but it’s not always been so easy. His latest single, I Do, delves into the topic of mental health and the struggles many face daily. “I wrote I Do a few years ago,” shares Justin. “At the time, I had mostly danced around the topic of mental illness and hid behind fictional characters that I’d made up in my head. I felt like I needed to take the mask off and exercise some personal demons, for better or worse.” As he works through those obstacles and mental challenges, one thing that puts things into perspective is the fact that while we may be lonely, we are never as alone as we think we are. “There’s billions of people in the world, and somebody somewhere is probably going through exactly what you’re going through.” His hope is that this song reaches the hearts of those who need some encouragement and that reminder that they are never alone.

Written by Justin, I Do takes an upbeat approach to what can be a really difficult topic to talk about. His confidently rich and honest vocals lend themselves perfectly to the feel-good lyrics and skillful instrumentals. The single features an ensemble of backing vocals leading up to the final chorus that will undoubtedly leave listeners a feeling a little lighter than when they began.

About Justin Kaleb: In the same vein as artists like the Turnpike Troubadours, Tyler Childers, and Jason Isbell, Alt-Americana country artist Justin Kaleb brings an element of truth-telling, blue-collar music that music fans can surely get behind.

Growing up in the foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks and now living in Nashville, his upbringing has truly influenced his music as he incorporates the story-telling aspect of Southern mountain regions and hill country. He’s been immersed in music his entire life as his immediate family, who are all musically inclined as well, encouraged him to begin experimenting with music, and since the age of 12, he has been playing shows. From sold-out venues to cramming into a 15-passenger van to hit the road, Justin has made a name for himself while being led by an unashamed passion for everything he does.

His first record Homesick Blues, which surmounted over 50K streams on Spotify alone, was recorded down in the infamous Muscle Shoals, Alabama with the great Jimmy Nutt (Jimmy Buffett, Jason Isbell, American Aquarium) and Gary Nichols (The Steeldrivers). Since then, he signed his first publishing deal, played sold out venues with bands like The Steeldrivers, David Allen Coe, among others. He is an accomplished musician with releases already under his belt including his latest success, Shaky Hand, and has appeared on late night local show “Later With Jason Suel,” morning entertainment local show “Good Morning NWA,” and was most recently featured on “The Kelleigh Bannen Show” on Apple Music Country. With a sultry voice that radiates intensity, passion, soul and authenticity, this unconventional artist incorporates a mix of classic folk, Americana and outlaw country with an edge that is rivaled by several artists. He turns his struggles and triumphs in his life into his music and is gearing up for a breakthrough year.
